This year we are excited to be using Sunday nights to focus on giving parents time and resources to lead spiritually at home.
One Sunday a month will be Family Night @church where families will come to have fun, connect with other families, and get re-energized to bring what we learn at church home each week. Our first Family Night @church will be September 13th, from 5:30-7pm in the church parking lot. There will be inflatables, hot dogs, family competitions and fabulous prizes!!
All other Sundays will be Family Night @home. We will be providing ideas, materials, and sometimes even coupons for Family Game Nights, Family Nights Out, and Family Challenge Nights.
Parents will pick up a Family Night Kit monthly with everything they need to have a good time with their kids while investing in their kids' spiritual development. Look for the September Family Night Kit soon!!
We are excited to launch our new After School Program for elementary age kids, KidCreate, beginning September 9th! This free art and music experience will happen every Wednesday from 3:30-5:30, with transportation provided at four of our local elementary schools. To find out more, or to register your child, please call the church office at 456-9465 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Start cleaning out your closets! We are having a yard sale on the morning of Saturday, July 4th! All proceeds will go towards our Children's Ministry. You can bring your stuff to the MAC starting the Wednesday before the sale. We need lots of volunteers to help sort and price all the treasures. If you'd like to help, call the church office (456-9465) and let us know.
Charming and witty, this superb children's musical captivates the heart through its memorable melodies and humorous dialogue creatively telling the story of Elijah. From his confrontation with Ahab and Jezebel through his journey in the desert, Elijah shows his faith in the God who provides. Concluding with one of the most dramatic moments in the Old Testament, Elijah asks God to send down fire upon the altar at Mt. Carmel. There, the people of Israel see the power of the true and living God. Don't forget about Ice Cream Sundaes following the musical!!
Looking for a way to spend a night out with your sweetie this Valentine's Day? Childcare will be provided (with a donation to the mission trip), including a snack, from 6pm-10pm. Call the church office at 456-9465 to reserve space for your children, then start planning that date!!!
